About Us
History
Our story starts in 2016 with one woman
Reinvent Women SA was conceived in 2016 and is the brain child of founder Nolwazi.
Reinvent Women SA strives to create a comfortable position for women irrespective of their background or ethnicity. We seek to achieve this through providing learning platforms, events, mentoring and outreach programmes.
This aim is driven by the passionate belief that every South African woman should be empowered enough and able to take any position they choose with confidence.
Success for Reinvent Women SA is the point where a woman can focus on her success by not being concerned with the basics of having sanitary pads and underwear every month. And is able to tell a story of her success because Reinvent Women SA took a chance on her.
Our Founder
The founder of Reinvent Women SA, Nolwazi, hails from former Transkei in a small town called Flagstaff. She has a burning desire to create meaningful change for all.
Nolwazi has a strong IT background in Project Management influenced by her Bsc in Computer Science. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Public Administration.
Guided by her passion to learn and explore she has worked in different industries such as Government parastatals, Aviation, Banking, Brewery and now Higher Education.
She was recently recognised for her hard work in the industry by being nominated as a finalist in the Standard Bank Top Women Awards in the category of Top Women in Tech.
