Our projects
Reinvent Women SA is involved in numerous projects
Education
We have partnered with an organisation called Beyond Knowledge IT to facilitate the education of young girls and women. Beyond Knowledge IT will provide free education on programmes within the ICT sector.
The programmes are currently under development and will be rolled out in due course. We want to ensure that these programmes are easily accessible for the empowerment and upliftment of women in SA.
Events
Our events are organised to create awareness for the plight of Reinvent Women SA, which is the empowerment of girls and women in SA.
These events allow us to expose the Reinvent Women SA cause to other people and to also connect and partner with like-minded people in a social setting. We have held previous events in Durban and Johannesburg and look forward to holding more in future.
outreach
Reinvent Women SA has officially partnered with a local school in KwaZulu-Natal called Sibongumbomvu Combined School.
We will be providing monthly “Care Packages” to the young girls that include sanitary pads and underwear. Our relationship with the school is going to be a continuous and long term one as we understand the importance of building a trusting and nurturing relationship with the girls in the school.
Reinvent Women SA is looking at identifying other schools in different Provinces as the purpose of these outreaches is to address the social ills before introducing the limitless possibilities for each girl or woman.
Mentorship
Reinvent Women SA understands the role and importance a mentor can make to girls and women alike. Guided by this and the fact that digital transformation has become mandatory to all, Reinvent Women SA has opted to offer mentorship virtually.
By partnering with like-minded individuals and organizations, we are able to offer webinars and one-on-one virtual mentorship to young girls.
